Dr. Karunesh Chakote is a practicing orthodontist who has a passion for educating. His journey started in Long Island, New York, where he was born and raised. After attending New York University Stern School of Business, he graduated Magna Cum Laude. During this time, he found his passion in dentistry after personally experiencing its impact through corrective jaw surgery and orthodontics that both bettered his smile and confidence. He then attended University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and graduated with high honors. He concluded his dental training here at Georgia School of Orthodontics, where he has had a broad exposure to all aspects of orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Chakote resides in Atlanta with his wife, Sruthi, and two children. Outside of Orthodontics, his interests are his children’s and include: reading and watching Disney stories, exploring parks and playgrounds, and travelling to family in Florida and New York.
He is excited to join Georgia School of Orthodontics and to have the privilege of educating residents in predictable and effective orthodontic care.
