An orthodontics school and clinic will break ground in Duluth this month.
“The Georgia School of Orthodontics will be a great addition to the Gwinnett community,” said Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash. “Their presence in Gwinnett will address a critical need for affordable orthodontic care and provide access to these services to under-served populations.”
GSO plans to hold its groundbreaking ceremony April 19, but officials have already begun construction on the 9,000 square-foot office which will feature an educational program as well as a state-of-the-art orthodontic clinic called GSO Smiles Center, according to a press release.
“The advanced technology in our state-of-the-art clinics allows us to offer patients of all ages access to braces, Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments,” said Dr. Ricky E. Harrell, program director at GSO. “The Georgia School of Orthodontics Smile Centers’ Duluth location will offer all of these services at affordable prices to Gwinnett and surrounding residents.”
GSO will also offer complimentary orthodontic care “to three deserving children in the Atlanta area” as part of its promise to provide $100,000 in complimentary orthodontic care to youth in Georgia, according to the release.
The new GSO office will be located in the Gwinnett Commerce Center at 3700 Crestwood Parkway. For more information, visit www.GSOrthodontics.org or call 770-351-7737.
